CATHRYN

Lord of the RingsA prequel standalone novel about Dalaina, the leader of The Company of the Half Sun. A tragic romantasy featuring friends-to-more and betrayal.

A sequel standalone novel dealing with what happens to Morzhan when he returns to his clan.

A novel or possible trilogy that is a cross between The Princess Bride and The Count of Monte Cristo set in the desert nation of Calipha, which is north of Êravis, the temperate land our trilogy is set in.

A Jane Eyre-esque romance that tells the complete story of Samah and Hashaq, the characters who meet in my prize-winning short story.

EMALYN

Over the course of her seventeen years, Emalyn has written countless short stories and created a plethora of characters. She attracts new ideas like a light calls to moths, and often has a hard time keeping on track with the stories she already has!

You can see more of her work (including artwork!) at her tumblr: (link coming soon!)

Heaven's Compass Rose

Genre: Science Fantasy

Emalyn's main work-in-progress is the Heaven's Compass-Rose Cycle, a 5-book fantasy series set in a tropical archipelago. As the archiplelago is split apart by the first war in centuries, the threads of time and potential weave together to welcome in a new age, but will it be one which is free, or oppressed? Her main characters include a pacifist rebel leader, a teen prophet with ADHD, and a scarred ruler who hides their face with an owl-shaped mask.

Solaris Deep

Genre: Science Fiction (Soft) / Science fantasy

The humans call it the Devil's Playground. The Sift call it home.

An undecided amount of books about a planet that is home to mushroom inspired aliens, moth inspired aliens, and various other aliens. Father-daughter relationships, platonic love and corrupt companies all feature. Like 1800's England, Earth's crime rates are through the roof and prisons are overflowing. In order to solve the problem, the United West have found a second planet where they can set up a convict colony. Unfortunately, the residents of the planet are not very excited by that idea.

Wishing For Homeland

Genre: Dystopian / Science Fantasy

A stand-alone story following Emerson Dekker, an autistic teen living in a post-apocalyptic Australia who is connected to the Server, the sentient 'portal' between worlds. She desperately wants to reconnect with her Polish/Dutch heritage, but unfortunately the world is unwilling to leave her alone.

Think The Hunger Games meets the multiverse meets Inkheart.

The Language of Flowers

Genre: Cosy fantasy war romance (if that's a thing)

A secondary world duology inspired by WWI that follows Laurent and Eliška, and the unlikely romance that develops between them when Laurent finds himself behind enemy lines trying to complete the mission of the spy he was meant to parachute in.
